The Crib of our dreams

We decided to buy a crib because Timothy was starting to get a little big for the bassinet... and it has been the best baby investement so far!!! First it is BEAUTIFUL!! I love it! Second, Timothy sleeps wonderfully in it. The first night we had it he slept 7 hrs straight... up to that point he had only ever slept 6. And when I did get him up to change and feed him, he stared falling asleep on the changing table when I gave him the pacifier (I thought to myself... hmmm, maybe he will go back to sleep next time he wakes up with just the pacifier???) So the next night I decided to try and give him the pacifier when he woke up/fussed instead of feeding him. What a FANTASTIC idea! He slept the rest of the night (10pm to 7am that night). So now I do that all the time! It is amazing the difference of getting up for 2 minutes to plug him vs. 1 hour to feed him makes in my tiredness in the day. So since he needs to be re-plugged once or twice a night... I think we are one easy step away from sleeping through the night!!! YEAH baby!!!!!

We absolutely love it when he makes this face! The cutest pouty face ever! Look at that lip!

His cute smile!! (Can you beleive these two faces were made within 2 minutes of each other... make up your mind boy!)

Gangsta baby!! Timothy in his cute little hat that Grandma Evans gave him!

Just a cute picture! I thought it is funny how his pacifier just sits there on his shirt when it falls out of his mouth!

We went up to Idaho this weekend to be with Robby's sister's family! This was a sunset we saw on the drive up! It honestly looked like the mountain was on fire... so cool! (I wish the picture showed it better, but you get the idea)

Surprise for Daddy!

Robby came home from work today to a surprise waiting! I said to him... tonight while I cook dinner, YOU get to feed Timothy!!! He was so excited!!! This was possible because I decided to pump... Timmy was still asleep at the time that I thought he would be eating, so I decided to pump and let Robby have a turn sitting there for half an hour + to feed the baby!It was cute to watch Timothy's reaction to the bottle (he actually did really well) and Robby's enthusiasm for the simple task of feeding his son!

Timmy thinks that daddy is doing a pretty good job!

Look how excited he is!

Earlier this week Robby got a hold of the camera while they (the boys) were waiting for me to be ready to go... he went a little crazy! These are just a small sample of the 14 pictures he took! Silly Daddy!

Don't I have a darling baby boy?!?!

Life

Sorry, no pictures this time...

Just wanted to update you all on life. I LOVE my baby! Sometimes I wish he would go longer between feedings, sometimes I wish I was smart enough to sleep when he sleeps instead of reading, sometimes I wish Robby could feed him... but mostly I just love him! He is so cute and getting more alert and fun everyday!

Pictures next time, I promise!

Sleeping
Nothing more precious than a sleeping child!
I LOVE this picture of my boys!

Bath Time
First time at home... there were ups and downs...
He didn't really like being naked and on his back... then once I put the washcloth to his body... he really started wailing!
But when I picked him up to wash his back... he seemed to be ok with it.
He really liked getting his hair washed! Look how cute he is when he is content!
Now we are all done and he is patiently waiting to get dressed... and be fed!
