Just some cute videos

Enjoy!
This was a month ago. She talks and giggles so much now.
Practicing for Halloween.
Birthday Party!
At home cupcake!

Life as of late

As my last post said, Spencer turned 3!
On his birthday we had cupcakes and he opened presents from Grandparents.
Of course he had a birthday crown!
The next day, Saturday, he had a birthday party with some friends.
It was a train theme. All the kids piled onto the "train" and conductor Robby pulled them along to all their stops. There was lunch, story time, play time, cake time, singing time, and present time. They each a had a ticket that got punched out as they loaded for their different stops. It was so cute and fun!

After friends left it was such a nice day, Robby got the boys out to rake some leaves!
They had a blast!

The couple weeks before Halloween I convinced Robby to grow a goatee. I have wanted him to do it pretty much ever since we got married, but he always shaves when Sunday rolls around. Well, I finally convinced him to do it "for Halloween". I think he looks so handsome and studly with it! So he kept it, until the day after Halloween. Then he said it was irritating him so much, so I let him shave.
I have decided that although he is incredibly good looking with it, I prefer to kiss a clean shaven face! So Thanks Robby for giving it a go, but I  probably won't ask you again to do it.
Robby and I had a date, and Katelyn was coming along, so I dressed her up!
She is SO stinkin' CUTE!
 My cute kiddos!

Then it was self portrait time!

Happy Birthday Spencer

My little boy is 3 today! I can't believe it, yet I've kind of thought of him as 3 for a while... weird.

Three years ago he came to us in a surprising way. He decided that he was ready and came fast enough that we didn't get to the hospital. It was a beautiful birth experience at home. I had Robby and my amazing mother-in-law there to help.  Robby and I were talking about it last night before we fell asleep and I reiterated how I was very glad I had the experience and feel so blessed at the miracle that it was, but it helped me know that I am happy to have babies at hospitals.

He was born at 2:02am (and ironically enough, I was awake at that time this morning feeding Katelyn). We had chosen not to know his gender before hand, but being a boy didn't surprise me. I was so happy to have him. He weighed in at 7lb 9oz when we got to the hospital. The past three years have been fun, wild, up and down, and full of love and learning.

He was always such a happy baby. He had the biggest smile that could melt my heart!

He put up with a lot from his big brother. But now he is his little shadow and follows him every where!

 One years old.

 Two years old.

 He's crazy!

Now at three he is usually happy, but knows how to scream when he is not. Which most often occurs while playing with Timothy. They get along and can play really nicely together, but they sure know how to push each other's buttons.
Favorite color: blue, or red, or green depending on what it is or if Timothy has it or not...
Favorite food: Hot Dogs
Likes to: watch movies and play with Timothy
Doesn't like: not getting his way (luckily his attention can still be diverted sometimes)
He is getting really good at talking and communicating his wants and needs.
I look forward to the year ahead buddy! LOVE YOU so much!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Spence!
